Offsite Backup

As we continue to expand and offer high quality service, we have recently upgraded our backup servers and have redundant servers as well as redundant drives. This gives our current customers peace of mind that if they lose data, they can rest assured that Scobi IT, their IT Service company will have it backed up.

Why have remote backup?

As part of disaster recovery planning for your organisation we find the best way to ensure your systems will cope if there is a disaster. Some insurance companies require organisations to have a remote backup procedure.

Its ok, we backup to a hard drive and take it offsite?

This is fine as long as the following do not happen:-

The hard drive is stolen in transit, with our solution all data is encrypted from leaving your site to being stored on the servers.

Hard drives are sensitive so please don't drop them as this can cause loss of data.

What happens if you forget to take them offsite?

Below are a list of our prices. As you can see backups start from as little as £7.50 per month. All prices exclude VAT.
